Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini Moves Resolution in Assembly Seeking Trust Vote

Chandigarh: New Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has initiated a pivotal trust vote motion in the state Assembly during today’s special session.

The proceedings commenced with solemn obituary references before Saini received a warm welcome, marked by resounding desk thumps. Notably, former Chief Minister ML Khattar was seated beside him.

Amidst the session, the presence of breakaway JJP faction MLAs, including Devinder Babli, Ishwar Singh, and Ram Kumar Gautam, was observed. Despite defying the party whip, they briefly attended the House before departing.

However, Leader of Opposition Bhupinder Hooda and Congress MLA BB Batra proposed a one-hour adjournment, citing the short notice of the session and some members’ delayed arrival.
