Asst Prof of Sambalpur Univ Suspended for Offensive Post Against PG Council Chairperson

Sambalpur: Rajat Kumar Kujur, an Assistant Professor of Political Science and Public Administration Department of the Sambalpur University was suspended by the university authorities for his misbehaviour and derogatory post against the PG council chairperson.

Allegations against Kujur were investigated by an inquiry committee of the university. Based on the findings, Rajat Kujur was suspended.

As per a notification of the Sambalpur University, during the suspension, period, he is not allowed to leave the office of the PG Council Chairperson.

But Kujur has been barred from entering into the administrative building, any PG department/section and Library. He cannot attend any meeting of the varsity during the suspension period.

During the suspension period, he will get subsistence allowance at the rate equal to leave salary.
