BJP Removes Anupam Hazra from National Secretary Post

New Delhi: West Bengal leader Anupam Hazra was removed from the post of BJP’s national secretary by the president of the party JP Nadda on Tuesday.

Hazra is a former Lok Sabha MP from West Bengal. In recent times, he has been critical of BJP’s activities in west Bengal.

The BJP’s axe on Hazra came on a day when Nadda and Home Minister Amit Shah were in Kolkata to attend political programmes.

Through this action, BJP wants to caution dissidents within the party to stick to organisational discipline and toe the leadership’s line.
