Car Crashes Into Biden’s Convoy, US Prez, First Lady Safe

A car crashed into US President Joe Biden’s motorcade on Sunday. A sedan intruded on the US president’s convoy and crashed into a Secret Service vehicle attached to Joe Biden’s motorcade.

This incident occurred as the US president left his campaign headquarters in Delaware. When the sedan hit an SUV positioned in a nearby intersection about 40 meters from Biden, security personnel immediately rushed the president into a waiting vehicle and he was taken away from the building in downtown Wilmington. Biden arrived safely at his family home safely without further incident.

According to the US Secret Service statement, “At approximately 8:09 pm (0109 GMT), a Secret Service vehicle securing the president’s motorcade route was struck by another vehicle in Wilmington.”
