Class 9 Student Stabbed to Death in Khordha

Bhubaneswar: A class 9 student of Adarsha Vidyalaya was stabbed to death by some unidentified assailant in Khordha district of Odisha on Wednesday.

This shocking murder happened at the Benapanjuri village under Jatani Police Station limits.

The deceased student has been identified as the son of Manoj Paltasingh of Benapanjuri, who was studying in Class 9 at the Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya, Sandhapur.

According to locals, the victim faced the attack while he was studying inside his house. He was stabbed three times in the chest and hand. The reason behind the attack is yet to be ascertained.

Although the injured student was rushed to the district head quarter hospital in Khordha, doctors could not save him.

Police have started investigation to identify and nab the culprit.
