CM to Inaugurate State-Of-The-Art Bhubaneswar Bus Stand Today

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will inaugurate the state-of-the-art Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Bus Terminal at Baramunda in Bhubaneswar on Friday evening.

Spanning across over 15 acres of land, this ultra-modern bus terminal can handle 30,000 passengers and 700-800 buses daily. The terminal has space for parking 2,000 buses. It has a parking space for 115 cars in the basement.

It boasts of modern amenities like electric stairs, elevators, and a lavish food court. Giant LED screens will provide all bus-related information to the passengers.

It offers air-conditioned waiting rooms for travellers. Here the passengers will be provided services like front office, medical, ATM, and food court under one roof. The bus terminal has an Ahar Plus Center

Mission Shakti Café, Millet Café, and sports hall for the waiting children are added attractions of this bus terminal. A police outpost manned by 89 cops has been set up at the bus terminal for the safety of the passengers.
