Coal-Loaded Truck Hits Bike Killing Two in Bargarh District

Bargarh: Two bike riders were crushed to death by speeding in Odisha’s Bargarh district on Monday.

Both deceased were employees of a private insurance company. They died on the spot.

A coal-loaded truck hit the bike of the deceased near Debabahal Square under Atabira police station limits. After hitting the bike, the truck did not stop and then the wheels of the heavy vehicle ran over both victims.

The locals immediately rushed to transport the accident victims to a nearby hospital. But both were found to be dead.

After receiving information, local police reached the spot. The bodies were sent for postmortem. An investigation has been launched in this regard.
