British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak sacked interior minister Suella Braverman, one of his most senior ministers.
Rishi Sunak took this decision because of comments Braverman made a week back about the police’s handling of a pro-Palestinian march.
Last week, Braverman defied Sunak by publishing an article in which she criticized the police’s handling of a pro-Palestine march that took place on Saturday.
Braverman’s stance was criticized by many, who said she inflamed tensions and encouraged right-wing protesters to take to the streets of London. It put pressure on Sunak to take action against Braverman.
