Chandigarh: A local Congress leader Baljinder Singh Balli was gunned down at his residence in Punjab’s Moga district on Monday night. Balli was the Congress block president in Ajitwal and he was shot dead at his residence in Dala village.
A few hours after the murder, a Canada-based Khalistani terrorist, Arsh Dalla, took responsibility for the killing through a Facebook post.
Dalla alleged that he took revenge as Baljinder Singh Balli had ruined the future of his family.
Arsh Dalla is a most wanted terrorist of the National Investigative Agency (NIA). He is now in Canada and is alleged to be involved in several terrorist killings in Punjab.
As per the CCTV footage, two bike-borne assailants fired at Balli and escaped.
