Deserted Maoist Camp Unearthed in Kandhamal Dist

Phulbani: A Maoist camp was unearthed at Tudi Bahal jungle in Kandhamal district during a search operation by the Special Operations Group (SOG) of Odisha Police.

Acting on information about the presence of Maoists in the area, the SOG team had launched a search operation. By the time the SOG jawans reached the spot, the Maoists had escaped from the area in a hurry. The SOG team found various materials, including food items, medicines, saline, and explosive materials from the deserted Maoist camp.

Kandhamal Superintendent of Police confirmed the discovery of the Maoist camp.
