For This Reason Rajinikanth Touched Yogi Adityanath’s Feet

Chennai: Superstar Rajinikanth on Monday clarified the reason for which he touched the feet of UP CM Yogi Adityanath during the cine star’s visit to Lucknow.

Speaking to newsmen he said it was his habit to fall at the feet of a ‘sanyasi’ or ‘yogi’, irrespective of the age of that person.

“Whether a sanyasi or a yogi, it is my habit to fall at their feet even if they are younger than me. That’s what I did,” he said.

Several on social media and Tamil Nadu were unable to swallow this act of the superstar. Many asked whether it was decent for the 72-year-old actor to touch the feet of the much younger UP CM.

To a question on the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, Rajinikanth said he did not want to talk about politics.
