Two Terrorists Attempting Infiltration Slain in Poonch Sector

New Delhi: Personnel of the Indian Army shot dead two terrorists and foiled an infiltration bid along the Line of Control (LoC) in the Balakote sector of Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch district on Monday.

A huge quantity of arms and ammunition including one AK 47, two magazines, 30 rounds, two hand grenades and Pakistan-origin medicine were seized from the possession of the slain terrorists.

These terrorists were detected by the troops while making attempts to cross the LoC taking advantage of rains, dense fog, thick foliage and undulating ground in the Hamirpur area of the Balakote sector.
