Four Medical Students Including 2 Girls Suspended for Ragging Juniors in Ahmedabad

Ahmedabad: Four students, including two women, of a medical college in Ahmedabad were suspended for allegedly ragging juniors. This medical college is managed by AMC Medical Education Trust, an entity of the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation.

According to the authorities of the medical college, the four suspended students are pursuing Master of Surgery. While two students were suspended for two years and one year respectively, the other two were suspended for 25 days.

On May 21, four first-year students of medical college along with their parents had complained against these four seniors. A college council and heard all of them. After a detailed inquiry, the council decided to suspend the four senior students to show zero tolerance towards ragging.
