Elder Sister of Union Home Min Amit Shah Passes Away

New Delhi: Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s elder sister Rajeshwariben Shah passed away during treatment at a hospital in Mumbai on Monday.

Following this sad news, Amit Shah cancelled all his engagements in Gujarat.

Rajeshwariben was undergoing treatment at a hospital in Mumbai, where she breathed her last in the early hours of Monday.

According to reports, Rajeshwariben’s mortal remains have been brought to her residence in Ahmedabad and her last rites will be performed at Thaltej crematorium in the afternoon. Shah, who represents Gandhinagar Lok Sabha constituency, was in Ahmedabad since Sunday for Makar Sankranti.
