Telangana Medical Students Shave Head & Moustache of Junior for Ragging

Hyderabad: Senior students of Ramagundam Medical College in Telangana allegedly subjected a junior to ragging, by forcibly shaving his head and moustache.

This alleged incident of ragging happened at the medical college’s Sharadanagar campus in Godavarikhani. The senior students used a trimmer to shave the junior’s head and moustache.

Receiving complaints about this ragging incident, local police reached the medical college campus on Wednesday to investigate.

BRS MLC K Kavitha in a letter to the Chairman of the Telangana Legislative Council, said, “Reports of rising ragging incidents at Ramagundam Medical College are deeply disturbing. I urge the Telangana Legislative Council to address this issue and take appropriate measures to ensure the safety and well-being of all students at the college.”
