Kerala Guv Arif Mohammed Khan Accuses CM Pinarayi Vijayan of Plotting To “Physically Harm” Him

Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala Governor Arif Mohammed Khan lashed out at Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Monday, alleging a conspiracy to cause him physical harm. The accusation followed an incident in which the Governor’s vehicle was reportedly struck by Students Federation of India (SFI) activists, the student wing of the CPI(M), while en route to Thiruvananthapuram International Airport for his journey to Delhi.

A visibly angered Governor Khan got out of his car and asserted to the media that it was Chief Minister Vijayan who had orchestrated a plot to instigate physical harm against him.

The confrontation unfolded as the Governor was on his way to the airport, and the alleged involvement of SFI activists added a contentious layer to the already strained political atmosphere in Kerala.

The incident highlights the escalating tensions between the two prominent figures and adds a new dimension to the state’s political landscape. Governor Khan’s accusations point to a serious rift between the two, potentially leading to further escalation of the ongoing political dynamics in Kerala.
