Koraput Pvt College Principal Allegedly Involved in Sexual Harassment, Students File Police Complaint  

Koraput: Students of a private college in Jeypore of Odisha’s Koraput district alleged that the college principal was sexually harassing them.

As per reports, 13 hostel inmates of this private college have lodged a complaint with the Jeypore Town Police, with the allegation that the principal of the institution, Deepak Patnaik, has been sexually harassing them.

Police have registered a case under Sections 376, 294, 324 and 506 of the IPC and POCSO Act against the principal and have initiated an investigation into the matter.

According to the complaint lodged by the students, the principal tried to force a student to have a physical relationship with him. However, the student managed to escape and reached the Jeypore Town police station to lodge her complaint.

The female students alleged that the principal was threatening to fail them in examinations if they disclosed the matter.
