Lookout Notice Against Hungarian Crypto-Ponzi Scam Head

Bhubaneswar: Acting on the request of the Odisha EOW, the Bureau Of Immigration (BOI) issued a lookout notice against a Hungarian named David Gez (32), who leads a mega Crypto-Ponzi scam named ‘STA Token’.

David Gez had come to India twice on a tourist Visa in 2022-23. He stayed in India for about 25 days, visiting different parts of the country like Odisha, Goa, Punjab, Jharkhand and Delhi.

According to the EOW, David Gez reached India via USA and Turkey during his first visit. For his second visit, he took the route via Turkey.

In Odisha, he was seen in Bhubaneswar and Bhadrak.

He deleted his Instagram account after registration of a criminal case against him. According to the EOW, his Indian associates are still uploading Youtube Videos using his AI generated picture and voice.

David Gez came to India on a tourist Visa but was involved in business/promotion activity, which is not permissible as per the rules of the Ministry Of External affairs. EOW would be reporting this to MEA for necessary action.

EOW is also investigating the involvement of a Dutch man in this crypto-ponzi scam.

Even now some topline members of this scam are still indulging in the online propaganda through YouTube, Whatsapp Groups etc. to con gullible investors below their chain. Their activities are under surveillance and action will be taken against them, said EOW officials.
