On Odisha EOW’s Request GOI Issues Lookout Notice Against Chinese Fraudster

New Delhi: Acting on the request and investigation of the Odisha Economic Offence Wing (EOW), the Union Ministry of Home Affairs, issued the Lookout notice against a Chinese fraudster Guanhua Wang (40). Guanhua is the prime accused in a pan-India online ponzi scam that uses morphed photographs of celebrities to lure investors. This man from China’s Hangzhou city runs four companies in Bengaluru through his mule directors.

Odisha EOW through its investigation has found that this Chinese cheat has siphoned more than Rs 100 crore from India through his mule accounts and companies.

Guanhua visited India six times in 2019 and 2020, mainly to Bengaluru to establish the base of his online fraud network. After that, he is running the online ponzi scam from China with the support of associates in India.
