Man Chops Off Nose of Anganwadi Worker in Karnataka as Her Children Plucked His Flowers

Bengaluru: Angered by flowers being plucked away from his garden, a middle-aged man chopped off the nose of an Anganwadi worker in Karnataka’s Belagavi on Tuesday.

According to police sources, the 50-year-old victim, identified as Sugandha More, who is an Anganwadi worker faced the attack at Basurte village in Belagavi district.

As per reports, the children of Sugandha had plucked some flowers from the garden of the accused identified as Kalyani More. Enraged by it, Kalyani picked up a fight with Sugandha and chopped off her nose by a sharp weapon.

Seriously injured Sugandha was admitted to a hospital where her condition is said to be critical.

Following the incident, the accused escaped from the spot. A manhunt has been launched by the local police to arrest him.
