Man Kills Wife’s Alleged Lover in Jajpur

Jajpur: Suspecting an extramarital affair, a man murdered his wife’s alleged lover and surrendered before the police on Saturday in Jajpur.

The killing took place at the Sanabazar area of Jajpur town.

The deceased identified as Jaydev Mahalik alias Chinu was hacked to death by a sharp weapon by Manas Ranjan Panda alias Lingu of Badabazar area.

After committing the crime, Manas surrendered at the Jajpur police station

Manas alleged that Jayadev was having an extra-marital affair with his wife.

Two years back Manas had complained before the police that Jayadev had molested his wife. Following his complaint Jayadev was arrested by the police.
