YouTuber Couple Surrender Before Forest Dept in Jajpur, Were Uploading Videos With Wild Animals

Jajpur: The YouTuber couple, Monalisa Bhadra, and her husband, who kept wild animals and posted their photos and videos on social media platforms violating the Wildlife Act, surrendered before the officials of the Forest Department on Wednesday night.

Despite being warned by the forest officials, YouTuber Monalisa Bhadra, and her husband were keeping wild animals at their place and posting their photos and videos on social media.

On Sunday, the Forest Department officials raided the house of the YouTuber couple at Jahal village under Jajpur Sadar police station limits. The couple was charged of violating the Wildlife (Protection) Act.

But Monalisa and her husband preferred to abscond. On Monday, the forest department officials raided the house of the couple again and rescued a monkey.

A case was registered against the couple and the forest department formed two teams to arrest them.

Monalisa and her husband preferred to surrender before forest department officials on Wednesday night.

According to the forest officials, the YouTuber couple has confessed to their crime and surrendered. They have been booked under Section 9 of the Wildlife Forest Act, 1972.

In the past Monalisa uploaded photos and videos of monkeys, snakes and horses on her YouTube and social media handles.
