Bhopal Couple Arrested for Brutally Thrashing Granny for Not Cooking As Per Their Wish

Bhopal: A couple residing in Madhya Pradesh’s Bhopal was arrested when a video clip showing them thrashing the man’s grandmother appeared on social media.

Taking cognisance of the viral video, Bhopal police arrested the couple Barkhedi area. They were identified as Deepak Sen and Pooja Sen, who are originally from Jhansi in Uttar Pradesh. Deepak runs a barber shop in Bhopal.

In the video clip, the man is seen to be holding the aged woman tightly, while his wife hits her with a wooden scale.

The victim, who is over 70, received the beating as she allegedly did not cook for the couple as per their liking, revealed the police investigation.

The video of this assault was recorded by one of their neighbours.
