Meta to Create ‘Human’ AI to Compete in AI Race

Not to be left behind Meta has decided to join the AI race by developing super AI  incorporating ‘human tendencies’ in it.

The prime goal of Meta is to develop “super AI” that can reach the same level as humans.

Mark Zuckerberg, in an interview with The Verge, said that his company is joining the pursuit of creating super artificial intelligence, with an aim to create AI that can problem solve and rationalize at same level as humans.

With it Meta is expected to compete with tech giants Google and Microsoft.

Zuckerberg talked about how Meta has employed the best engineers to work towards expanding their presence in AI, and their primary goal is general intelligence.

After Microsoft-backed OpenAI and its chatbot, ChatGPT opened up a competitive AI sector, the prime competitors in field are Microsoft, Google, Elon Musk’s new startup xAI and now, Meta.
