Mother, Son Found Hanging Inside House in Sambalpur

Sambalpur: A woman and her son were discovered dead inside their house in Tangarpali area under Ainthapali police station limits of Odisha’s Sambalpur on Monday.

The deceased were a teacher named Jyotsnarani Das, and her son Sudhir Panda.

The house had remained closed from the inside. A foul smell coming out of the closed house alerted the neighbours, who informed the police about it.

When police personnel broke open the house, the mother-son duo was found hanging inside a room.

The bodies were sent for post-mortem and police have started an investigation. into the incident.
