Odisha Govt Launches Subhadra Yojana Portal

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has launched a dedicated web portal for the implementation of the Subhadra Yojana, a scheme aimed at empowering women in the state. Deputy Chief Minister and Women & Child Development Minister Pravati Parida inaugurated the portal today in Bhubaneswar.

The portal, accessible at www.subhadra.odisha.gov.in, offers comprehensive details about the scheme, including the final Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), eligibility criteria and the application process. Additionally, users can lodge grievances through the platform.

Parida emphasised that the state government will disseminate all necessary information regarding the scheme through this portal. Citizens are encouraged to rely on it for accurate updates.

Subhadra Yojana is set to be implemented over the 2024-25 to 2028-29 financial years, with a budget allocation of Rs 55,825 crore. Beneficiaries will receive Rs 10,000 annually in two installments, credited to their bank accounts on Rakshya Bandhan and International Women’s Day. Over five years, each beneficiary will receive a total of Rs 50,000.

The scheme will officially be rolled out on September 17.
