PM Modi Lambasts Opposition, Says Country Will Give 370+ Seats to BJP in Lok Sabha Polls

New Delhi: In a spirited address during the Lok Sabha debate on the Motion of Thanks on President’s Address, Prime Minister Narendra Modi asserted that the opposition parties seem to lack the fortitude to contest elections and have resigned themselves to an extended stint on the opposition benches. PM Modi expressed his confidence in this observation, attributing the opposition’s current predicament to their own decisions.

Taking a swipe at the Congress party, PM Modi remarked that after decades in the treasury benches, they now appear resolved to remain in the opposition for an extended period. He suggested that the Congress had missed a golden opportunity during the Budget Session to provide constructive suggestions, accusing them of leaving the country disillusioned.

PM Modi highlighted that the opposition, particularly the Congress, failed to capitalize on the election year to convey a message to the public. He criticized the lack of innovation and effort, stating that Congress may soon need to “shut shop” due to its repetitive strategies.

The Prime Minister also pointed out that the younger leaders in the opposition were stifled, possibly alluding to Rahul Gandhi, and stressed that the Congress party was responsible for the opposition’s current state. PM Modi concluded by expressing his confidence in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls, predicting a substantial victory for the NDA with over 400 seats and at least 370 seats for the BJP.
