Polling for 3 Rajya Sabha Seats from Odisha on Feb 27, Notification Issued

Bhubaneswar: Notification for elections to three Rajya Sabha seats from Odisha was issued on Thursday.

As per the notification, the polling will be held on February 27 between 9 am and 4 pm. The last date for making nominations is February 15.

The scrutiny of nominations will be done on Feb 16. The last date for withdrawal of candidature is on Feb 20.

The counting of votes will be conducted on the day of polling at 5 pm.

Elections to Rajya Sabha seats are being held as BJP MP Ashwini Vaishnaw and BJD MPs Amar Patnaik and Prashanta Nanda are set to retire from the upper house in April.
