Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann Receives Death Threat from Khalistani Terrorist Pannun

Chandigarh: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has received a death threat from Khalistani terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, reported NDTV.

According to reports, the American-Canadian citizen Pannun had called on gangsters to attack CM Mann on January 26,  Republic Day.

Reacting to the threat, Punjab top cop Gaurav Yadav vowed “strict action” against those who might plot to assassinate Mann.

Mr Mann has Z+ category security cover. In March 2023, Mann’s daughter Seerat Kaur, who lives in the US was threatened while the hunt for Khalistani terrorist, Amritpal Singh, was on.

According to media reports, Pannun also threatened the consecration ceremony of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya.

Pannun had also threatened an attack on the new Parliament building in Delhi.

Pannun is also in news because the US government claims he was the subject of a murder bid orchestrated by Nikhil Gupta and an unnamed Indian government official, codenamed CC-1.
