‘Sam Bahadur’ Box Office Report: Vicky Kaushal’s Film Gains Momentum Post ‘Animal’ Wave

Mumbai: Meghna Gulzar’s much-anticipated film “Sam Bahadur” hit the screens on December 1, with Vicky Kaushal in the lead role as India’s first Field Marshal, Sam Manekshaw. According to Bollywood trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the movie garnered ₹9 crore on its second day, surpassing the opening day’s ₹6.25 crore, bringing the total domestic box office earnings to ₹15.25 crore.

Despite facing tough competition from “Animal,” starring Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna, “Sam Bahadur” has left a noteworthy mark at the box office. Taran Adarsh highlighted the challenge ahead on Day 4, stating that the film needs to maintain steady performance in key centers.

The film, which also features Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra, has received positive reviews from both fans and critics. A special screening for Bollywood celebrities, including Rekha, Sidharth Malhotra, and Vicky Kaushal’s wife Katrina Kaif, generated buzz.

Filmmaker Karan Johar praised Vicky Kaushal’s portrayal of Sam Manekshaw, commending his mastery of the craft and the film’s overall polished production. “Sam Bahadur” continues to make waves in the industry, with audiences eagerly awaiting its further success.
