Sambalpur–Jammu Tawi Express Derails in Sambalpur, No One Injured

Sambalpur: The Sambalpur–Jammu Tawi Express derailed at the Sambalpur Railway Station, late Wednesday night. No one was injured in this accident as the derailment took place at the washing line as the train was empty at that time.

The derailment also did not hamper the train services.

Two coaches of the train including its pantry car derailed while the Sambalpur-Jammu Tawai express after arriving at Sambalpur station was on its way to the car shed at Khetrajpur for washing.

The Railways authorities managed to bring back the derailed coaches back on the tracks.

The train will again resume its journey on Thursday, informed the East Coast Railway. The reason behind the derailment is being probed.
