Samsung to Launch ‘AI Smartphone Era’ With Galaxy S24 Series

Smartphone giant Samsung is all set to launch the ‘AI smartphone’ era by unveiling its Galaxy S24 series in the US in three models — Galaxy S24 Ultra, S24 and S24+.

As per reports, in all these models, use of AI will be the salient feature. These phones are said to be having Google-powered ‘Circle to Search’. This AI-oriented feature will enable one to search any image, video, or text on your screen by circling, highlighting, scribbling, or tapping without opting for screenshots.

Reports say these phones will have features like ‘Live Translate’ for phone calls, the use of AI to improve zoom at night, as well as an AI-powered ‘Note Assist’ feature.

Samsung released a teaser video regarding its new experimentation, “Galaxy AI is coming,” shared through Samsung’s YouTube channel. This video shows Samsung’s history of mobile innovation from Samsung’s first mobile phone, SH-100, in 1988 and the world’s first TV phone in 1999 to the foldable smartphone in 2020. At the end of the video, an aged couple and a young woman discuss the future of smartphones on a subway hinting at the release of Galaxy AI.

In India, customers can pre-reserve the Galaxy S24 smartphones by paying Rs 2,000 on Samsung.com, Samsung Exclusive stores, Amazon.in and leading retail outlets.
