Shocking! Woman Kills Her 6-Month-Old Baby by Slitting His Throat

Balangir: In a shocking incident, a woman murdered her six-month-old son by slitting his throat at Khaliapali village in Odisha’s Balangir district on Friday.

The accused woman is absconding after committing the gruesome act. The reason behind her ghastly deed is yet to be ascertained.

This incident came to the fore on Friday morning when the child’s grandmother searched for the baby for an oil massage. She found the child in a pool of blood with slit throat. She called the neighbours and the baby was rushed to the nearby hospital, where doctors declared him dead.

Police have reached the spot for investigation.

According to the locals and the husband of the accused, she was mentally disturbed. The deceased baby was the third child of the couple. They had two daughters earlier.
