Shubman Gill & Mohammed Siraj Become No 1 ODI Batter & Bowler

New Delhi: Shubman Gill surpassed Babar Azam to become the No.1 ODI batter in the world in the latest ICC rankings released on November 8, Wednesday.

Among the ODI bowlers, Mohammed Siraj reclaimed the No.1 spot.

Shubman Gill now has 830 rating and Babar Azam at No 2 has 824 points.

Shubman Gill is the leading run-scorer in one-day internationals in 2023. In the continuing ODI World Cup, Gill has so far scored two half-centuries, including 92 against Sri Lanka. He missed India’s first two matches due to dengue.

Mohammed Siraj is continuing to have a sensational year with the ball in ODIs. He delivered a stunning show against Sri Lanka. In the Asia Cup final in September he had scrapped six Sri Lanka wickets in the final of the Asia Cup with a six-wicket haul in September.
