Distressed by India’s Loss in World Cup Final, Youth Ends Life in Jajpur Dist

Jajpur: Unable to bear the trauma of Team India’s defeat at the hands of Australia in the World Cup final, a youngster ended his life at Kula Sahi village in Jari panchayat under Binjharpur police limits in Jajpur district on Sunday night.

His body was found hanging on Monday morning.

According to the family members of the deceased, he was suffering from some mental disorders and was under medication.

On Sunday, after watching India’s defeat in the World Cup final match played in Ahmedabad, he became depressed and is said to have taken the drastic decision because of it.
