STF Nabs Drug Peddler with Rs 1 Cr Worth Brown Sugar in Keonjhar

Bhubaneswar: A team of STF of Odisha police nabbed one drug peddler, identified as Rajendra Kumar Majhi (46) of Baidyarajsahi of Keonjhar, near Jodiaghati in Keonjhar on Monday evening. Contraband brown sugar weighing 1080 gm and other incriminating materials were seized from Majhi’s possession. The seized brown sugar is said to be worth over Rs 1 crore.

Since 2020, STF has seized more than 74 kg of brown sugar/heroin, 202 gram cocaine and more than 116 quintals of ganja/marijuana, opium 3 kg 630 gram and arrested more than 184 drug dealers/peddlers.

STF also destroyed over 62 Kg of seized Brown sugar during past one year.
