4 Dead as Train Set on Fire in Bangladesh capital Dhaka

At least four persons were charred to death when unidentified persons set fire to a passenger train on fire in Bangladesh’s capital city Dhaka on Tuesday.

The attack coincided with the nationwide strike call hartal called by the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) on Tuesday. The BNP is continuing its campaign to boycott the polls.

Three compartments of the Dhaka-bound Mohanganj Express were set fire shortly after the train left the Dhaka Airport Railway Station at the entry point of the Bangladesh capital.

The deceased included a woman and her child.

The burning train was stopped at Tejgaon where the fire service personnel doused the flames and recovered the four bodies.
