Vigilance Raids to Unearth Disproportionate Assets of Nabarangpur Excise Superintendent

Bhubaneswar: Simultaneous raids were conducted by Odisha vigilance officials on Friday at different places related to Gonga Paikray,  Deputy Superintendent of Excise-cum-I/C Superintendent of Excise, Nabarangpur because of allegations that he has amassed huge disproportionate assets (DA).

Vigilance teams led by 3 DSPs, 5 Inspectors, 6 ASIs are conducting search operations at six places in Koraput and Nabarangpur districts as per search warrants issued by Special Judge, Vigilance, Jeypore.

The searches are being conducted at:

*A triple-storeyed residential building of Gonga Paikray, located near the Fire Station in Jeypore.

*His triple-storeyed residential building at New Street 1st Lane in Jeypore.

*A land with the foundation of a building of Gonga Paikray near Prakash Vidyalaya, Jeypore.

*An asbestos parking shed of Gonga Paikray, located at Hanaguda, Jeypore.

*The office chamber of Gonga Paikray at Nabarangpur.

*The residential rented house of Gonga Paikray, located at Sadasiba Marg, Chanuria Guda, Nabarangpur.
