Bhubaneswar: WhatsApp is currently testing a new screen-sharing feature for Android devices, as reported by WABetaInfo. This feature will enable users to easily share their phone screens during video calls, similar to the functionality offered by Microsoft Teams and Zoom.
To access the screen-sharing feature on WhatsApp, users need to initiate a video call and then tap on the screen-share option located in the bottom left corner of the app. This will allow users to mirror their entire smartphone display, enabling them to share anything visible on their screen with the recipient.
It’s important to note that this feature is currently in beta testing and may not be available on older versions of WhatsApp. Additionally, it might not function during large group calls. This new addition is part of WhatsApp’s ongoing efforts to enhance its user experience and provide more interactive features for its users.
