World’s Tallest Dog Zeus Dies of Bone Cancer at Age of 3

The world’s tallest dog, Zeus, died of bone cancer at the age of three in the United States, as per Guinness World Record (GWR). Zeus would have turned four years old in November.

This Great Dane was 1.046 meters (3 ft 5.18 in) in height and lived in Bedford, Texas. This dog reached the record-breaking height in 2022.

Although its front right leg was amputated to treat the cancer, it suffered from pneumonia after the operation and died on September 12.

According to the owner, Zeus was a truly special dog. He was gentle, loving, and very stubborn but always happy to see his family and many, many friends on his adventures around Dallas & Fort Worth.
