Indian Doctor Arrested in US for Secretly Recording Naked Women, Children

Michigan: A 40-year-old Indian doctor, Oumair Aejaz, has been arrested and charged with multiple sex crimes in the United States. He is accused of recording hundreds of nude images and videos of children and women over several years.

Authorities believe Aejaz used hidden cameras in various settings, including bathrooms, changing areas, hospital rooms and even his own home, to capture his victims. The youngest victim is believed to be a child as young as two years old.

Aejaz’s wife alerted authorities to the disturbing materials, leading to his arrest. Police say he has no prior criminal history.

The full extent of Aejaz’s crimes is still under investigation, but authorities fear there may be many more victims as they review thousands of videos found at his home. Sheriff Mike Bouchard compared the scale of the crimes to those of Larry Nassar, the disgraced sports doctor convicted of abusing dozens of young women.

Aejaz is charged with child sexually abusive activity, capturing images of unclothed persons and using a computer to commit a crime. He is being held on a $2 million bond.

Prosecutors say Aejaz preyed on vulnerable victims, including children at a swim school and patients in hospitals. They believe he may have targeted other institutions as well.

Police are urging anyone who may have been a victim of Aejaz to contact them.
