Kajol’s Mother, Veteran Actor Tanuja Hospitalized

Mumbai: Noted Bollywood actress of yesteryears, Tanuja, who is also the mother of Kajol, has been hospitalised in Mumbai.

Tanuja was admitted to the ICU of a private hospital at Juhu on December 17 evening because of age-related ailments. She is 80 years old.

Tanuja is a popular actor, who has several hit Hindi and Bengali films to her credit. She is the daughter of yesteryear star Shobhna Samarth and producer Kumarsen Samarth.

Tanuja’s memorable films include ‘Baharein Phir Bhi Ayengi’, ‘Jewel Thief’, ‘Haathi Mere Saathi’ and ‘Mere Jeevan Sathi’.
