Mithun Da’s Health Improves May be Discharged from Hospital Today

Kolkata: As the health condition of Bollywood actor turned BJP leader,  Mithun Chakraborty has improved, doctors may discharge him from the hospital on Monday.

The 73-year-old veteran was admitted to a private hospital in Kolkata on Saturday when he complained of severe chest pain.

“He is stable, fully conscious, well-oriented, and active. Senior doctors, one physiotherapist, a speech therapist and other experts reviewed his health condition this morning. He will undergo a few clinical examinations before we decide on whether to discharge him today,” a senior official of the private hospital stated.

Chakraborty has already undergone an MRI, along with other medical tests at the hospital.
