Kenyan serial killer ‘Vampire’, who killed 42 women including his wife escaped from police custody. The serial killer, Collins Jumaisi Khalusha was in police custody at a police station in Nairobi. He was arrested in July after discovery of 10 dismembered bodies and several body parts stuffed in plastic sacks in the Kware area.

The 33 year-old serial killer and 12 other inmates escaped from the Nairobi police station after cutting through wire mesh in their cells and jumping over the boundary wall.

Khalusha is reported to have confessed to luring, murdering and mutilating 42 women, including his wife, between 2022 and 2024 July.

Recently he was given the nickname “Kenyan Ted Bundy” for similarities with the infamous American serial killer.

Khalusha was described as a “psychopathic serial killer with no respect for human life.”
