Krystyna Pyszkova From Czech Republic Crowned Miss World 2024

Mumbai: Krystyna Pyszkova of the Czech Republic clinched the coveted Miss World 2024 title during a glamorous event held in Mumbai. The ceremony saw reigning Miss World Karolina Bielawska of Poland passing on the crown to her successor. Apart from her academic pursuits in Law and Business Administration, Pyszkova is also known for her modelling career and her active involvement in the Krystyna Pyszko Foundation’s initiatives.

Miss Lebanon Yasmina Zaytoun secured the first runner-up position, while India’s Sini Shetty, unfortunately missed the top 4. India, which hosted the event after 28 years, has a storied history with six previous Miss World titleholders.

The 71st Miss World pageant welcomed contestants from 112 countries and took place at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai’s BKC area. The judging panel comprised notable personalities from various fields, including film, sports, and social work, alongside former Miss World winners.

The event featured captivating performances by renowned singers and a message from former Miss World Priyanka Chopra Jonas emphasizing the importance of ‘beauty with purpose,’ the tagline associated with the Miss World pageant.
