Zomato CEO turns delivery agent

New Delhi: The news of Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal turning into a delivery agent, and delivering orders wearing the official t-shirt of Zomato with a bike for a day once in 3 months is going viral.

The news came to light when Sanjeev Bikhchandani, founder and executive vice-chairman of Naukari.com, posted about his recent interaction with the Zomato CEO.

“Just met @deepigoyal and the @zomato team. Delighted to learn that all senior managers including Deepinder don a red Zomato tee, get onto a motorcycle, and spend a day delivering orders themselves at least once a quarter. Deepinder tells me that thus far nobody has recognized him,” Mr. Bikhchandani tweeted.

Mr. Bikhchandani also added that this practice of putting on a uniform and delivering orders on a bike unnoticed has been going on for the last three years.
