Aamir Khan In Nepal To Attend 10-Day Meditation Program

Kathmandu: Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan has taken a little hiatus from acting to make a personal trip to Nepal. Aamir arrived in Kathmandu on Sunday morning, where he will participate in a 10-day vipassana meditation course.

Aamir Khan last appeared in the August 2022 film “Laal Singh Chaddha.” Pictures of Aamir in Kathmandu where he is seen posing with locals and chatting with kids have gone viral on social media. The actor’s travel to Nepal was confirmed by officials as well.

“He is here to do vipassana meditation,” Rup Jyoti, a representative from the vipassana centre in Nepal, confirmed on Sunday. He is already registered for the session as of right now.

According to sources, the actor would take part in the session at the meditation centre in Budhanilkantha, around 12 km outside of Kathmandu.

The actor last travelled to Nepal in 2014 to attend a UNICEF event in Kathmandu.

Aamir had declared that he will take a break from acting following the release of “Laal Singh Chaddha.” The actor revealed he is taking a break for the first time in his 35-year career during a media appearance in November last year.
