Fatherless Poor Girl succeeds in NEET Without Any Coaching

Even without costly online or offline coaching, a determined poor student can get a good score in NEET examination to secure a seat in medical colleges. Harita of Telagana’s Nizamabad has proved it. Despite being the daughter of a poor beedi worker, who lost her father she was only 6 year old, she has fought against all odds to fulfill her dream of becoming a doctor.

Harita’s only help to crack the NEET UG entrance were the YouTube videos. Through her NEET score, Harika has got a seat at the Siddipet Government Medical College. She secured 703 rank in Telengana. Even after two unsuccessful attempts in 2020 and 2021, she did not get disheartened. She did not have the money to join any professional coaching for NEET entrance. Yet she continued her preparation on her own for the 2022 NEET entrance.

Her only significant support during her preparations was a smartphone she borrowed from a cousin. She started preparing for the entrance test by watching YouTube videos.

She also performed well during her school education. She had got a 9.5 GPA in 10th. Because of the support of her school principal, she got a free seat in Kakatiya Junior College. Interestingly, Telangana CM, K Chandrashekhar Rao’s daughter, Kavitha Kalvakuntla has promised to finance Harika’s MBBS education.
