Pakistani Man Residing Illegally In Pune Arrested

Pune: A Pakistani man has been arrested by the Pune police for allegedly living illegally in the city for the last eight years.

The man, identified as Mohammad Aman Ansari, 22, was arrested from the Khadak area of Old Pune.

According to the police, Ansari has been living illegally in Bhavani Peth near Chudaman Talim since 2015.

During the investigation, police found a fake passport, with which he had travelled to Dubai.

The man has been booked under IPC Sections 420 (cheating and dishonestly inducing delivery of property), 468 (forgery for purpose of cheating), Section 471 (fraudulently or dishonestly using as genuine any one document), under Foreigners Act, 1946 (14) and Passport Act, 1967
