5 Cops Killed, 2 Injured as Police Vehicle Collides with Parked Truck in Rajasthan

Jaipur: In a heartbreaking incident that has cast a pall over Rajasthan, five policemen lost their lives and two others were left injured following a collision between their vehicle and a parked truck in the Churu district. The accident occurred in the early hours of Sunday morning as the police personnel were en route to Taranagar for an election meeting.

The tragic news has sent shockwaves through the state, with Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot expressing his deepest condolences to the families of the departed officers. “Early this morning, we received sorrowful news about the loss of policemen in a vehicle accident in Sujangarh Sadar area of Churu,” he stated. “Our deepest sympathies go out to the families of the policemen who lost their lives. Wishing a quick recovery to the injured.

The deceased officers have been identified as ASI Ramchandra from Khinvsar police station, along with constables Kumbharam, Suresh Meena, Thanaram, and Mahendra.
